In our fast-paced world of endless activities, school commitments, and career demands, many families find themselves caught in a relentless cycle of busyness that leaves little room for spiritual growth. The family calendar becomes the commanding force that dictates every moment, while faith quietly slips into whatever cracks remain—if any. This imbalance isn't just a scheduling problem; it's a spiritual priority crisis that affects the very foundation of our families.

The warning signs of this imbalance are often hiding in plain sight. When family devotions become the first casualty of a busy week, when conversations revolve exclusively around logistics rather than heart connections, when Sunday worship becomes optional because everyone's exhausted, and when the calendar has no breathing room for rest or reflection—these are clear indicators that priorities need reassessment. The very activities we pursue to enrich our children's lives can inadvertently crowd out the most important aspect of their development: their spiritual formation.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 provides timeless wisdom that directly addresses this challenge: "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." This Scripture isn't suggesting we squeeze God into a designated time slot; it's inviting us to weave faith into the natural rhythm of everyday life—at breakfast, during car rides, at bedtime, and every moment in between. When our children only see faith practiced in formal settings like church, they may conclude that God is compartmentalized rather than central to every aspect of life.

Parents and grandparents alike hold tremendous influence in shaping the spiritual landscape of the next generation. Even grandparents who don't see their grandchildren daily can leave profound spiritual imprints through intentional interactions. Creating Bible story resources as gifts, having meaningful conversations about God's creation, reading children's messages together, praying with them during family challenges—these seemingly small moments plant seeds that take root and grow throughout their lives. The key isn't perfection but presence—showing up consistently with authentic faith that children can observe, absorb, and eventually emulate.

Rebalancing family life to prioritize faith doesn't require dramatic overhauls or additional pressure. Simple practices can transform ordinary moments into sacred opportunities: anchoring the day with a single Scripture verse at breakfast, using car rides for meaningful faith conversations, making bedtime a sacred space for prayer and reflection, and creating intentional "Sabbath moments" even when a full day of rest isn't possible. These small shifts don't add burden; rather, they infuse meaning and purpose into activities we're already doing.

The beautiful truth is that family life will never achieve perfect balance, and that's perfectly acceptable. The goal isn't flawless execution but faithful presence—keeping God at the center in ways that authentically fit your unique family rhythm. Even in chaotic seasons, strained relationships, or times of doubt, God can use the smallest offerings—a simple prayer, a thoughtful conversation, a shared moment of worship—to plant eternal seeds in young hearts. Our responsibility isn't to create spiritual perfection but to faithfully point to the One who is perfect, trusting Him to work in ways we cannot see and to bring fruit in His perfect timing.

Hi friend, I’m Paula

… a grandma, pastor and follower of Jesus

I've always felt pulled to the quiet, sacred spaces where transformation happens—not in the spotlight of large ministries, but in the intimate moments of women (and men's) lives. As a spiritual midwife, I walk alongside Christian women, guiding them through the space between struggle and breakthrough, helping them uncover their God-given identity.

Faith, Coaching, and Lived Experience

Unlike many, my approach stems from real-life wisdom, not just theory.

  • As a Christian coach and certified practitioner in holistic techniques, I draw from my own story to teach others.
  • I believe in the power of small steps that add up over time, like starting with a simple prayer or a moment of journaling amidst the chaos of daily life.
  • Through one-on-one coaching, I help women build sustainable devotional rhythms that bring calm and clarity, transforming overwhelm into opportunities for revelation.
I'm passionate about empowering women to integrate faith into their everyday routines—whether that's balancing family, work, or personal growth. By weaving Scripture with practical self-care strategies, I show how these elements can help you feel more connected to God and at peace in your relationships. As a mom and grandma myself, I understand the profound influence we have on our children and grandchildren, and I love reminding women of the eternal impact of their faithful steps.

Embracing Your Unique Calling

At the heart of my work is a celebration of individuality, inspired by truths like those in Psalm 139:14, which reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. I see the God-sized potential in every woman I meet, even when it's hidden under layers of busyness or doubt. My gifts—empathetic listening, biblical insight, and a knack for creating sacred rhythms—serve as bridges between ancient faith and modern life. I encourage you to give yourself room to breathe, to honor your unique path, and to make it doable today by taking those first, gentle steps toward freedom and empowerment.

If you're yearning for a deeper connection with God, more balance in your daily life, and the tools to strengthen your faith, I'm here to guide you.
