Are you waiting on a promise from God that seems to be taking forever, or sensing Him say "go" without showing you where? Abraham's story in Genesis is for every believer who has had to trust God one step at a time.
This study takes you through Genesis 12–25, following Abraham from God's first call to his last breath. You'll discover:
- A call without a map: why God led Abram with a relationship before a destination
- Faith under pressure: the covenant ceremony where God alone walked between the pieces
- Taking matters into our own hands: Hagar, Ishmael, and El Roi, "the God who sees me"
- Laughter and the God who keeps His word: "Is anything too hard for the LORD?"
- The ultimate test: the ram on Moriah and a faith that welcomed the promise from a distance
Included:
- An easy-to-follow word study on "loyal love" (hesed) and "righteousness" (ṣᵊḏāqâ), with their Greek counterparts eleeō and dikaiosynē
- 6 group discussion questions and 6 personal journal prompts
- A complete 60-minute Leader's Guide with a timed session flow, two timestamped podcast audio clips, deeper theology, and everyday examples for both men and women
This is the companion to Episode 162 of the Living on Purpose In Christ podcast with Pastor Paula. It works well for small groups, women's or men's ministries, or personal devotion.
